Texworld Los Angeles Opens Today with Home Textiles Sourcing Debut

Texworld Los Angeles and Apparel Sourcing Los Angeles 2026 officially opened on July 21 at the California Market Center (CMC) in downtown Los Angeles, running through July 23. This edition marks a significant expansion with the debut of Home Textiles Sourcing LA on the West Coast, previously confined to Messe Frankfurt's New York circuit. The intimates and swimwear trade show Interfilière has also joined as a new partner, making this the most comprehensive sourcing platform on the US West Coast.

According to organizer Messe Frankfurt, the 2026 edition expects approximately 100 exhibitors and 1,500 professional visitors. Product categories span childrenswear, womenswear, menswear, activewear, denim, knits, wovens, suiting, intimates, loungewear, and ODM/OEM services. Past editions have featured international delegations including the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade textile arm and the Taiwan Textile Federation.

Vice President Jennifer Bacon said the company is thrilled to introduce Home Textiles Sourcing LA to the West Coast community, committed to connecting attendees with innovative sourcing solutions and educational opportunities.

The show features three programming highlights: the Trend Showcase curated by Paris-based forecasting agencies Peclers Paris and NellyRodi, offering exclusive Fall/Winter 2027/28 color, material, and macro trend forecasts with a special Taiwan Pavilion showcase; the Innovation Hub spotlighting eco-friendly textile options and high-performance fiber technology; and the Textile Talks seminar series exploring AI, circularity, bio-based materials, localized manufacturing, and natural fiber innovation.

Notably, this edition comes as apparel sourcing executives navigate tariff volatility and supply chain restructuring, making one-stop sourcing platforms increasingly valuable as brands consolidate supplier vetting into fewer, larger events.
