On July 16, the 27th Shenzhen International Medical Tourism Exhibition, together with the 17th Cell Biology Industry and Cell Therapy & Regenerative Medicine Conference, the 10th International Functional Medicine & Longevity Technology Innovation Conference, and the World Assisted Reproductive Medicine Technology Summit, opened concurrently at the Shenzhen Convention Center (Futian District). The first day attracted over 10,000 professional visitors.

The international medical tourism zone covers core areas including cross-border medical treatment, reproductive medicine, and precision health screening, with over 100 institutions participating including the Malaysia Healthcare Travel Council and Bumrungrad International Hospital from Thailand.
Concurrently, multiple high-level specialized forums were held, featuring in-depth reports from authoritative scholars and clinical experts from China, Japan, the United States, Europe, and Southeast Asia. China has become one of Malaysia's most important medical tourism markets, with Chinese medical travelers to Malaysia growing at a 23% CAGR from 2023 to 2025.
